Heather Ward

Heather was born and raised in Lake County, attending Mount Dora Christian Academy where she graduated in 2013. In 2017, she graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in legal studies where she was a member of Kappa Delta Sorority.

Heather then obtained her Juris Doctor from the University of Kansas School of Law in Lawrence, Kansas where she also received an Advocacy Skills Certificate, the George Gary Duncan Prize, and CALI Excellence for the Future Awards in Jurisdiction and Alternative Dispute Resolution. During law school, Heather was the Vice-President of Women in Law and an Advanced Intern with the Paul E. Wilson Project for Innocence and Post-Conviction Remedies.

Heather currently lives and works remotely in Waltham, Massachusetts with her boyfriend and Lola, her rescue dog. When not spending quality time with her little family and their friends, Heather enjoys exploring her new home in the Greater Boston area, especially anything involving history or spending time outdoors.
